Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. She made her debut in a Bond film, A View to a Kill in 1985. She starred in 1989 as Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan donavan was featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after she was approached by an aspiring photographer. Her career has since evolved into commercial modelling. Doody did not like glamour or nude work, a rule that was carried into her acting. When she was dragged into the sights of the director who cast a new James Bond film she accepted a small part as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody appears within John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as being one of the 12 top actors in 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old when she took on the character of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying starring Mickey Rourke also had a part for Doody as IRA Siobhan. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 television adaptation of The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading character of Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She acted alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an archaeologist for forensics in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody co-starred in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam known as the Hitler Diaries. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. She played Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. After almost a decade away from screen Doody returned to acting and acted in a tiny role in 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an award ceremony scene. She starred along alongside Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). She guested in RTE's the medical thriller The Clinic. The project was later shelved. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first season of two in the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). She was given the Almeria tierra de cinema award on 21 November 2018.
